Privacy Policy
Touchline is built to help clubs present recruiting information in a cleaner format for college coaches. This page explains what information we handle and how we use it.
Scope
This Privacy Policy explains how Touchline collects, uses, stores, and shares information when you visit our website, request a demo, or work with us to create and manage recruiting materials for youth soccer players.
Touchline is currently offered as a high-touch service. We may receive information directly from clubs, coaches, staff members, parents, guardians, or other authorized representatives who ask us to build or maintain recruiting profiles and related materials.
Information We Collect
We may collect business contact information such as name, email address, phone number, organization name, and scheduling details when you request a demo or contact us.
For recruiting profiles and related club materials, we may process player and team information supplied to us by authorized representatives. Depending on what a club chooses to provide, this can include a player's name, graduation year, positions, jersey number, school, club, location, academic information, athletic information, honors, intended major, contact details, headshot, highlight video links, and internal recruiting notes.
We also collect limited technical information about how the site is used, such as device and browser data, approximate usage patterns, and page activity through site analytics and hosting tools.
How We Use Information
We use information to respond to inquiries, schedule and conduct demos, provide and improve the Touchline service, organize recruiting data, generate PDFs and shareable recruiting materials, maintain the admin workspace, troubleshoot issues, and protect the security and integrity of the site.
We may also use information to communicate with clubs and coaches about service updates, onboarding, support, and product improvements.
Who May Submit Player Information
Touchline is intended to be used by clubs, coaches, team staff, and other adults authorized to manage recruiting information. If you submit information about a player, you represent that you have the right and authority to provide that information to Touchline and to direct us to host, format, and share it for recruiting purposes.
Touchline is not directed to children under 13 to independently create accounts or directly submit information to us through a self-service workflow. If we learn that information was submitted to us without appropriate authorization, we may remove it.
How We Share Information
We share information only as needed to operate the service and deliver recruiting materials. That can include service providers that help us host the site, manage authentication and database infrastructure, measure usage, and schedule demos.
We may also share recruiting materials and profile information at the direction of the club or authorized representative who asked us to prepare or maintain that information.
We may disclose information if required by law, to protect rights and safety, or in connection with a business transfer.
Public, Demo, and Shared Content
Some pages on this site are sample or marketing experiences intended to demonstrate how Touchline works. Information shown on public sample pages may differ from customer-managed backend records.
If we create recruiting pages, PDFs, or shortlist materials for a customer, the content included in those materials depends on what the customer asks us to publish or share. Organizations using Touchline should avoid submitting information they do not want included in recruiting workflows.
Cookies and Analytics
We and our service providers may use cookies or similar technologies that are reasonably necessary for site functionality, authentication, performance, and analytics. These tools help us understand site traffic, maintain sessions, and improve reliability.
Data Retention
We retain information for as long as reasonably necessary to provide the service, maintain records, resolve disputes, enforce our agreements, and meet legal or operational obligations. Retention periods can vary depending on the nature of the information and the relationship with the club or organization involved.
Your Choices and Requests
If you want to request access, correction, update, or deletion of information we control, contact us using the Touchline contact method made available on this site, including the Request a Demo flow, and identify your request as a privacy matter.
Because Touchline often processes recruiting information on behalf of clubs or other organizations, we may direct certain requests to the organization that supplied the information so the request can be handled appropriately.
Security
We use reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational measures designed to protect information. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.
Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will update the effective date on this page. Your continued use of the site after an update means the revised policy will apply going forward.
